We got a sweet new camera and with that comes new friends. Here are a few of them.

Mary and I spent the weekend at my cousin's Gale's and her hubby Bill's place in West Linn. It was a chance to get together with family and celebrate a couple birthday's, my cousin Greg's 50th and his son Conor's 13th.

On the way to Yakima and river rafting we went through Mt. Rainier National Park and by Tipsoo Lake at Chinook Pass. The weather all weekend was fantastic. The rafting pics are over at Sarah and Jay's sight.

After a summer of painting experience, the boys were nice enough to paint our house. They are professionals so don't try this at your home.

Left Paradise Inn and headed over to the Tatoosh for a climb up to Pinnacle Peak. Afterwards on the way home we got word that Hudson had arrived the night before and stopped by the hospital to see the little fella and Mara and Dave.

On the final day of the conference I hiked the Kautz up to Indian Henry's hunting ground. Finally sunny weather. Then we headed up to Paradise to spend the night at the Paradise Inn on Mary's birthday. We met up with John and Cody who had just returned from their climb up the Kautz route to the summit and had dinner at the Inn. A very nice day.

On the second day of the conference, they headed up to Paradise..

Mary had a 3 day mountain medicine seminar on and around Mt. Rainier. While she was in class I went hiking. These are pictures on a rainy day around Longmire
